چکیده
Antibiotic usage and misuse increases the risk of developing bacteria that are resistant to treatment. A Gram-negative, aerobic bacillus called Pseudomonas aeruginosa is mostly responsible for nosocomial opportunistic infections. Objectives: To assess pathogen load drug susceptibility profiles Peshawar clinical specimens collected with MDR isolates. Methods: Isolates were gathered from a variety specimens, including pus, tracheal aspirate, swabs containing wound samples, fluids such as urine or blood, department microbiology hospital Khyber teaching Peshawar. Clinical in-vitro study which carried out at Pharmacology Department, University Kirby Bauer Disc diffusion method was used identify pattern antibiotic susceptibility. Requirements Laboratory Standards Institute (2018) followed processing samples. Results: P. found be multidrug-resistant in about 56 percent cases. The majority isolates (36.5%) people between ages "60-80". Pus included greatest percentage (34.2%), by aspiration (21.7 percent). Colistin had highest sensitivity (100%) ceftolozane/tazobactam (61 With imipenem, least noticed (20 However, all anti-pseudomonal medications showed an increase resistance. Conclusion: In our system, infections becoming more frequent. This threat can avoided prescribing antibiotics carefully. For community receive appropriate healthcare, regular lab identification surveillance this necessary

متن کاملPrevalence and Antibiogram of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in a Tertiary Care Hospital of Haryana
Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa) is a well-known invasive pathogen that can frequently cause severe infections in hospitalized patients. A major problem with P. aeruginosa infection may be that this pathogen exhibits a high degree of resistance to broad spectrum antibiotics. The main aim of this study is to know the prevalence of P. aeruginosa infection and its antibiogram in a tertiary c...

conclusion prevalence of p. aeruginosa producing esbl and mdr strains from our clinical samples and environment is still low. results the highest resistance rates from the isolated p. aeruginosa were shown against piperacillin, imipenem, cefotaxime, ceftriaxone, gentamicin, ceftazidime, aztreonam, and ciprofloxacin, respectively. seven isolates (9.2%) were esbl producers. more than 30% of the i...

متن کاملAssociation Between Metallo-β-lactamases and Integrons with Multi-Drug Resistance in Pseudomonas aeruginosa Isolates
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is among the most important pathogens in the nosocomial infections. A genetic mobile element, the integron, is one of the major agents involved in dissemination of multi-drug resistance among gram negative bacteria. During a descriptive study from October 2009 to August 2010, some 130 P. aeruginosa clinical isolates were collected from different wards of three hospitals...
